Bite and Jaw Problems

Dr. Nasedkin is a leader in the teaching and diagnosis of jaw joint (Temporomandibular) problems. His concepts of relative joint age result in enhanced understanding of the sequence of breakdown of the jaw joints when overloading is present.

As a consultant, he assists dentists with clinical support in the use of computerized occlusal analysis with the T-Scan system.

The ultra-thin sensors of the T-Scan system are used between the teeth to detect minute contacts and document the timing of critical aspects of jaw movement in the chewing cycle for improved bite refinement. See T-Scan sample slide below:
